David Lindsay Perkins is a native Tulsan and residential land developer for 29 years. The 1959 Edison High School Graduate received a BBA majoring in Management and Marketing from the University of Oklahoma in 1963. That same year he married his childhood sweetheart, Patricia Diane Siegfried, and he was also commissioned as a second lieutenant in the US Army. Trained in the Signal Corp and as an Army pilot, he spent three years in service at Ft. Rucker, Alabama, Ft. Gordon, Georgia, Ft. Huachuca, Arizona, and one year as a pilot in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in the summer of 1966. Perkins retains his love for flying and remains a business and recreational pilot today.
Beginning in 1966 Perkins accepted a job with Cities Service Oil Company and was trained in marketing. As a sales manager he was assigned to various locations: Augusta, Georgia, Tampa, Florida and Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 1973 he resigned his position at CITCO to become an independent real estate broker and residential developer in Tulsa.
Lindsay had a successful 25-year partnership with Ed Schermerhorn until 1997; among their many developments were Sheridan Hills South, four phases of Southern Pointe, Country Lake Estates, Harvard Pointe, and Woodland Meadows. Lindsay and Ed continue to have numerous business interests together, and remain close friends.
Lindsay and Ed, over several years, also teamed up with successful Tulsa builders Vern Suess, Steve Murphy, Calvin Cozort and Russell Cozort to develop the well-known residential communities of Wexford, Wexford Estates, Ashton Woods and Lexington.
Lindsay continues today as an independent residential developer in the greater Tulsa area. His latest developments include, Woodhill, Rolling Oaks Park, The Park at Oak Grove, The Vintage at Verdigris, Lake View Estates, Graystone, The Crescent, Legacy Park I and II and The Enclave at Legacy. Combined, these projects represent over 3000 building lots in Tulsa and surrounding communities.
For the last 10 years, his son Brandon (Vice President) has been working with him. Brandon attended the University of Oklahoma and earned his degree at Northeastern University, majoring in finance and marketing.

Lindsays 40 years of marriage to Diane Siegfried Perkins boasts of five children, Teresa, David, Brandon, Mark and Marlow, and nine grandchildren, Mary Katherine Perkins. Lindsay Claire Perkins, Jacqueline Davis Perkins, Mathew Ray Gawey, Sadie Diane Gawey,Phoenix Lindsay Perkins, Ella Rose Perkins, Forrest Xavier Sipes, and Hudson Andrew Sipes.
